The Acres
The Acres, also known as Galesburg Country Homes, is a naturalistic residential subdivision designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in Charleston Township, Michigan. Established as a co-op in 1949 by a group of scientists from the Upjohn pharmaceutical company, the district contains four Wright designed Usonian homes and the Günther and Anne Fonken House designed by Taliesin School fellow Francis "Will" Willsey[2]. Each home is built on a 1-acre (4,000 m2) circular lot.
